Chiropractors face a unique combination of burdens in the field of healthcare as they are commonly playing the role of not only a licensed healthcare professional, but often they are also entrepreneurs. As challenging as balancing those responsibilities already is, the field of chiropractic is also one of the most dynamic–rapidly changing and adapting to new research, public awareness, and regulatory requirements.

As part of Carolina Chiropractors’ ongoing commitment to supporting our community and advancing our field, we have begun developing a collection of resources with the goal of providing chiropractic professionals in North Carolina with a simple yet exhaustive means to ensure they are meeting all of their compliance responsibilities. This will provide chiropractors with the confidence that they are not risking costly penalties–while reassuring patients and consumers that their chiropractic care provider is skilled knowledgeable of up-to-date practices, that their protected health records are being handled appropriately, and that they can trust in the integrity of not just their individual care provider but in the wider field of chiropractic at large.
