The NC Chiropractor Who SAVED Notre Dame’s Season
The Wall Street Journal featured a story today of how Notre Dame kicker Mitch Jeter’s crucial season-winning field goal was made possible by his father Andrew, a well-known chiropractor and chiropractic advocate here in North Carolina, as well as one of Carolina Chiropractors’ own founding board members.
After Mitch suffered hip and groin injuries early in the season, his father dedicated months to treating him, traveling to games and providing constant care, even while maintaining his own busy schedule practicing at Jeter Chiropractic Clinic in downtown Salisbury, NC.
Despite a rough period where Mitch struggled with accuracy after his initial return, the intensive chiropractic treatment eventually paid off. In Notre Dame’s playoff game against Penn State, Mitch successfully kicked a 41-yard field goal that sent the team to their first championship appearance since 2013. This incredible story from the Wall Street Journal is a celebration of one of our own, Dr. Andrew Jeter, and highlights both the unique father-son relationship and the crucial role that chiropractic care played in Notre Dame’s success.
